Learning Objectives: 1) Review anatomic, pathologic and physiologic principles as they apply to imaging the normal and diseased small bowel. 2) Appreciate the relative indications for the diverse modalities available for imaging the small bowel including variations of conventional and enteroclysis contrast examinations. 3) Understand the role of cross-sectional imaging, especially helical CT, in detecting and characterizing benign and malignant conditions of the small bowel.
