Learning Objectives: 1) To protocol and MR study for benign uterine conditions. 2) To describe normal female pelvic anatomy. 3) To understand the indications for MR imaging of benign uterine disease to include effect on patient management. 4) To perform and interpret MRI for benign uterine conditions to include leiomyomata, adenomyosis and congenital uterine anomalies.
Learning Objectives: 1) To discuss a clinically relevant and cost-effective approach for the use of MR imaging in evaluating malignancies of the uterus. 2) To describe the MR imaging findings in characterizing malignancies of the uterus. 3) To review the findings and efficacy of MR imaging in staging uterine malignancies. 4) To propose optimized MR imaging protocols for staging uterine malignancies.
