Learning Objectives: 1) To familiarize radiologists with the normal and pathological US anatomy in the right lower quadrant. 2) To identify the specific advantages of US over CT in acute right lower abdominal pain. 3) To review US pitfalls which may lead to an unnecessary operation or ill advised delay of necessary surgery.
