Learning Objectives: 1) Identify imaging features of acute cerebral ischemia and understand their therapeutic implications. 2) Identify imaging features allowing determination of emergently treatable causes of cerebral ischemia, include dissection of the carotid and vertebral arteries, dural sinus thrombosis, and cerebral aneurysms. 3) Learn to distinguish between stroke and stroke mimics such as posterior reversible leukoencephalopathy syndrome.
