Learning Objectives: The objective of this course is to provide the practicing radiologist with a practical yet comprehensive review of the use of CT in evaluating the patient with an acute abdomen. Appropriate CT technique will be discussed. The spectrum of specific CT findings will be detailed. Individual disease entities, both intra-and extra-peritoneal, will be reviewed.
