Learning Objectives: The attendee will learn techniques to perform emergency ultrasound procedures in infants and children, including the evaluation of intussusception and appendicitis, the evaluation of the vomiting infant, and the performance of arthrocentesis and paracentesis. Emphasis will be on specific techniques, and recognition of potential pitfalls, so that attendees may learn to apply these methods successfully in their practice.
