Abstract:

This discussion will cover the uses of mobile computing technology by radiologists and referring doctors

This discussion will cover the uses of mobile computing technology by radiologists and referring doctors. Medical Manager Health Systems, a WebMD company, has developed a suite of mobile technology applications that are being used by physicians and imaging professionals across the country. In this brief presentation, you'll see highlights of how these flexible mobile computing solutions work and how they are improving the productivity and effectiveness of clinicians and the quality of patient care they provide. You will discover that a convenient handheld device with a wireless connection can be just as effective as a desktop PC and learn how you can more effectively manage your workflow, document encounters with patients, and complete dictation, transcription, and referrals with a device that fits in your pocket.
